A Pennsylvania park day

Raccoon Creek State Park offers a larger outdoor outing across the Pennsylvania border, with trails, lake recreation and the Wildflower Reserve providing different reasons to visit. Choose one part of the park for a shorter trip or set aside a fuller day to explore at an easier pace. The reserve’s plants and habitats reward close observation rather than a hurried circuit.

Prepare before the signal drops

Pennsylvania DCNR advises visitors to save the park map because mobile reception can be unreliable. The Wildflower Reserve has its own rules, including restrictions on bicycles and pets, while other park areas have separate requirements. Check seasons and facility hours before planning swimming, camping or other activities. Bring the supplies your route needs and leave enough time to return to East Liverpool comfortably.
