Creek country beyond the city

Beaver Creek State Park brings wooded scenery and Little Beaver Creek into an East Liverpool visit. The creek landscape is the main attraction, but the nearby Pioneer Village also gives the outing a historical dimension. A day here can mix a walk, a picnic and a closer look at how earlier communities used the valley, rather than focusing on only one activity.

Choose your route before you arrive

Use the park map to choose a route that matches your group’s experience and the time available. Trails, camping and historic-building access are separate parts of the park experience, with their own conditions and schedules. Add the Wildlife Education Center or Pioneer Village when their opening times align, then return toward East Liverpool for a local food stop.

Before you go

  • Build a countryside day around the creek, with a separate stop at Pioneer Village.
  • Download a park map and check current trail conditions before a hike.
